I have a "walk-in" larder which needs new shelving. Shelves are about 4ft x 2ft. Can anyone suggest a suitable wipe clean material? At present I have 15mm contiboard but it is sagging.

4ft is far too long for any MFC (melamine faced chipboard/Contiboard) - anything like that will sag, even the 25mm stuff. Best solution might be either 1in/25mm pine boards or better yet hardwood saanded and sealed with 2 or more coats of a polyurethane lacquer.

extra brackets for support?
It will still tend to bow at the front of the shelf in time unless a cross brace of a suitable timber is inserted beneath the front edge of the shelf

Why not use ply and cover it in plastic laminate yourself. I would also opt for the extra bracket as suggested.
