Large wall crack

:!: Further to my post Jan 29th ref above.
For your information a surveyor inspected the property and said that it was caused by the very high winds that we have had in Broadstairs and it had actually lifted that part of the roof.
He also said that they may have to insert a brace. What does that mean as to costing and how is it done?

Very cheap to do ! What happens is your wallplate is not bedded on the wallplates with cement anymore therefore you now have to strap it in.They have many difference design for your need.
