I fitted up my brand new towel rail radiator last night and repressurised the system to find that the radiator valves fitted to the bottom are leaking where they screw in to the radiator. I used PTFE tap on the thread when fitting these but this has'nt sealed it obviously. Would jointing compound be better or a little bit of both?
