I've bought a new house and the bricks above my sitting room window are bowing down towards the centre. Looks like the lintel is goosed. The window is about 7ft-8ft long. How much roughly will this cost to repair?

Blind quoting I would say about £1500, alot of variables involved of course could be less could be more.

Is it new build or just new to you? If it's under 10 years old you should be covered, either by NHBC or an Architects indemnity.

Thank you fluffster. I just wanted a rough guestimation.

It's an old building Richard C, just new to me.
