Little brick shed foundation slab question

Hi
I’d like to build a little brick shed on the back of our detached garage. Garage was built in 1986.

Same brick as garage and same flat roof.
Using a wall starter kit.

Can I lay a slab with thicker edges?
If so what depth?

current garage - you can see slab and 2 bricks up to dpc.
