Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on the location of gas boilers?

My gran has just had a combi boiler fitted in her house to replace old boiler system and the boiler is now in her bedroom. I'm worried about the carbon monoxide risks.

Wondered if it is 'legal' to install gas combi-boiler in a bedroom?

Thanks

Bedrooms are fine as long as its been installed correctly.

Bit noisy though.

Get her a CO detector for peace of mind

Yes, its legal, but not advisable due to noise etc.

Carbon monoxide should not be a concern as modern boilers are room sealed, if installed correctly.
