Lockout of front door

I have been locked out of the front door in my house. The door is UPVC double glazed with the key hanging on the inside. I have tried pushing out this key using a similar key from outside. No luck. I can see the key through the letter box using a small mirror. Is there a special tool available I can purchase which can remove the key from the letter box.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Don't you have a back door ?.

I would hope no-one is going to tell you how to gain access to the door - its irresponsible on an open forum such as this.
