loft questions again

hello. Your prob all fed up with loft questions but here it goes anyway.

I have a Standard 1960's ex council semi. I am planning on boarding out the loft for storage only. I have tried to make sense of the building reg documents that several threads links to with no luck.

What I want/need to know is if the current joists would be up to the task or not. I would welcome any advise and if any more info is needed then please let me know.

The joists will be strong enough if it is only for storage and as long as you spread the weight fairly evenly.It may help to take note of the wall positions of the bedrooms and store the heaviest item directly above a wall.

dont worry i have a 1960s semi and i have done the loft out for storage and it is fine.
