logical step for Labour is to reverse Brexit

Motorbiking moans endlessly about AR not paying like £5,000

But Motorbiking has never ever criticised the Conservatives for giving £4b away in bogus PPE contracts to its mates

The letting agent that handled the rental arrangements for Rachel Reeves' family home has apologised for an "oversight" after they did not apply for a licence on her behalf,

Something about a stolen mobile phone

Poor Motorbiking is getting really desperate…..looks like the Jew hating Farage and his party are getting drowned in sleeze
NotchyFacts.

But Reform still lead the polls.

How much do they need for that?
Why are you so obsessed with a figure that will always change.

What's needed is a direction change in wages. Not a specific figure.

People working full time should be paid enough to live on. It will mean those at the top have to sacrifice a bit of their pay. And that's what hurts you.

The economy needs people spending. To do that they need money to spend.

You support paying benefits as long as those at the top can get richer. That only helps a few.

Keep paying more and more taxes, because as the wage gap increases more and more will need those taxes in benefits.

Absolutely no sympathy with you being taxed more and more.

... after they did not apply for a licence on her behalf, having told her that they would.

I think 2 people on minimum wage can live in a 1 bed property in many parts of the country.

And where does the next generation of people come from?

I may be going out on a limb here, but I don't think you would be happy if the answer was "from immigrants prepared to live 4 to a 1 bed property".

I do not want to divulge personal information thanks. But it was a terrace and needed a lot of work, all my furniture was donated second hand, the furniture I didn't have I used cardboard boxes for side tables. I replaced all the windows myself one room at a time.
Didn't have a holiday for 10 years. If the young of today did that instead of being so initialled and lazy and stopped spending all their money on items in the list then they could save for a mortgage. Whats your point

Read it -- sterile plastic gowns were not needed to protect NHS staff from covid which is what they were ordered for.
Irrelevant. They are on the hook for £122 million. Let's hope our government pursues the thieving Tory scum aggressively.

aveatry: Hi there, Supplier, I'd like to buy {Some Things} from you.
Supplier: OK, that will be £##.
aveatry: Great, here's my £##.
Supplier: Thank you.

time passes...

aveatry: Hey there, Supplier, where are my {Some Things}?
Supplier: You didn't need them, so we aren't going to supply them.
aveatry: But what about my £##?
Supplier: Well, we're keeping that, but that's fine, because, you see, you didn't need the {Some Things} you ordered.
aveatry: OK. Pleasure doing business with you.

I don't have a problem with people on low pay being given benefits if it means they keep their jobs and get more money than those who choose not to work.
As MBK says, give benefits to low earners in order to keep their jobs and earn more than someone who doesnt work and just takes benefits. It is the way that it should be, work and earn more money than someone who doesnt work. The low earner jobs still need doing so top up the money to a decent wage to keep them doing it.

motorbiking and Highway Man want their taxes to be used to subsidise the profits of businesses who don't pay their employees enough to live on.

I support people having jobs - less taxes for me to pay

more people in jobs means less taxes for me.

Apart, of course, from the taxes you pay which are used to allow companies to boost their profits by not paying the people in jobs enough to live on.

What if those people are disabled, and use the benefits they are given to pay for a car so that they can get to their low-paid job?

Is it still OK to pay them benefits?
