Experts,
I have moved to a new house and need some clarification on overflowing of hot water storage tank.

It is hot water storage tank (tornado unvented indirect). I have set thermostat to 45 celsius. Though, Pressure gauge on hot storage tank is always less than 1 bar and it do not move even if I increase thermostat.

Also, it does overflow from tundlish intermittently. I am puzzled as why it should overflow at 1 bar of pressure.

Any suggestion on how to increase pressure of hot water storage tank and also stop letting hot water dripping out?

Regards,
Jack

Is there a red vessel above or near that pressure gauge? I think this gauge is for heating. 1 bar is normal for heating system.

Hi,
Thanks for response.
The red tank (expansion vessel ) is inbuilt within hot water storage tank.

Pressure guage is not standalone. It is temperature and pressure guage. It doesn't seems to be only for central heating as indicated temperature is for hot water.
