I have some 12V garden lights with an automatic on/off dawn to dusk timer unit. They have now started flashing on/off and now don't seem to want to turn off after the allotted time (you can set them to turn off after 2/4/6 or 8 hours). Anyone know what the problem may be....I have already changed the timer unit once....

..this was a complete boxed system, just plug in and away you go.

I would guess the light sensor is on its way out, or its getting partial light from one of the lights (it thinks its light, so turns off, but then it thinks its dark so they come on)

for the cost of an el cheapo set it would be worth getting either

another set, or doing it using good qaulity lights and a daylight sensor
