Rubi or Montolit?? Which are best?? I have a Montolit piuma 63P2 and i have never had a problem with it. The thing is a lot of people ask for advice on manual tile cutters and get directed straight to Rubi ! The Rubi versions are much easier to use for the DIYer, is this the only reason??

Never used a Montolit, but my Rubi is great. Expensive yeah, but works really well.
Where'd you get yours from and what did it cost?

got it from PTS Warrington think it was £215 + VAT yep was expensive as well but you only get what you pay for, and never let me down. I had a bit of a fight with it at the begining with not being able to see the wheel but the more you use it it starts to come into its own.

Cuts 63cm square- 44x44 diagonal- and up to 1inch thick, 22mm limestone no probs! great for mosaics as well
