Marble tiles in bathroom wall preparation

Cn anybody advise how to prepare a bathroom wall and floor for Marble tiles weight and resistants to mould and water penetration etc

Have no idea where to start and advise offered is varied. Need a consensus

Too many variables! Start by reading the Tiling Sticky & Forum Archive posts, then come back with specific questions. The answers you get will depend on many things such as tile weight, colour/quality of the tiles, what type of substrate/tile base you have & if wet areas are involved.

Marble tiles may need sealing before you tile & sometimes again before grouting, depends what tiles you have.
