Hi

I was wondering if anyone can help me on a query I have. I've just had my house rendered on the outside, and once the render is completely dry, I shall be looking to paint it.

Does anyone have any ideas on the best kind of masionery paint that should be used, and the best method of applying the same?

Regards

I have just painted my newly built garage with Leyland smooth masonary paint, 3 number 5 litre cans. Total price £ 45.00

I used a 4 inch paste type brush, however i have been told a roller would have done the job with less paint. Not to bothered really as i think more paint on the bare render wont hurt.

The garage is 8.7 M x 4 M and single story, so should give you an idea of coverage using a brush as i did. If you use a roller you will obviously use less paint.

Will post a picture of said garage soon.

Would have done a lot of that with a brush too..you could end up smothering the bricks with splashes otherwise
