Folks,

Looking for a recommendation for a good masonary 'paint' (water seal) to stop rainwater soaking into my rendering / brickwork. Thomson's Water Seal has been mentioned but not sure how good this is and if there is anything better on the marketplace.

Any recommendations would be gratefully appreciated.

you may need to post a different question. masonry paint to me is decorative and sandtex would be the money no object choice and wickes the no frills solution.

render and brickwork should not need water proofing. anything outside is going to wear out and performance and durability must be questionable.

suggest you post what the problem is and see it this produces more help.

if it has to be a water repellent then i would try sovereign chemicals (ww.sovchem.co.uk under damp proofing) as a starting point.
