This is what used to be termed a circulator.

I saw one yesterday and the client said that its off because the "inside is corroded".

Does anyone know if parts are still available and if its worthwhile repairing if it needs a new HE ?

12d water heaters are only about 10 years old and are still available good simple and reliable,parts are ok to get
