Maytag dishwasher not enought water pressure?

my maytag stopped cleaning. i have checked it out and there is not enough water pressure to spin the bottom cleaning wand even though there is a little water coming out. there is also only a small amount of water coming out of the side. the top will not spin and there is no water there. i checked the water inlet line and it is fine, it has plenty of pressure. i also changed the water inlet valve and it works exactly the same. when i pulled the dishwasher out there was a small weight on the floor, i don't know if it belonged to the dishwasher or not. any suggestions?
