my hot water runs cold and stays cold, however if I touch or knock the control panel of the boiler something clicks and the boiler will flare up and hot water runs through the tap. I have since lowered the control panel and I have not had any problems since.I have had the boiler for 3 years.

Do you think I need to change the circuit board(dry joint) or call an electrician to check all the wiring.
I've changed a few front panel switches on those.
An electrician probably wouldn't touch it (Far too thick
), someone with half a brain used to such things could probably find it in 10 minutes, lots of boiler bods would want to change expensive things like circuit boards, or the whole boiler.
