hi, I have a mixer shower, it has been working fine until recently where the water goes cold for about 10 seconds then hot again for a few mins then cold again. I have had the boiler looked at and no probs there. none of the other taps seem to be doing this, only the shower. any help please, thanks.

Just to add, I am not sure if it is a thermostatic mixer or not. It is a bar with pressure control on one end and the temperature control on the right side of the bar. it does have numbers going up to 38 (38 is max) on the temperature side. How can i confirm that it is a Thermostat one or Not??
Check the boiler when the shower go's hot/cold does the boiler cut in/out ?
No, and i have had British gas check the boiler a number of times. they are saying that it is fine.
