Mole Repellers - Do they work?

My Nana has a problem with Moles in Her garden, and because my Grandfather recently passed away there is knowone available on a daily basis to set and check the traps, so I thought as an alternative ultrasonic repellers may be a possible solution?
Has anyone had experience with these things or would we be wasting our money?

Anything other than trapping is a waste of money in my experience - trapping is the only way to keep them under control - plenty of websites that give a good grounding on how to set traps - suggest you have a go.

As has already been said they soon get used to noises and ignore them.

Avoid any form of poison - it only gets into whatever lives off the dead mole and transfers to whatever lives on that - and on and on.

My neighbour has a cat that can catch a mole - it is the only cat allowed in my garden. Between us this year we have caught over 20 moles.
