My 93' Mondeo is slowly leaking fluid from the steering rack. Is it possible to seal this, or would I need to have a new rack fitted (that possibly might cost more than the car is worth?).

Lucas oil products (an american company) make a power steering stop leak additive. a lot of independant motor factors or accessories shops stock it. its the only one ive seen to work. just add it to your power steering fluid. got to be worth a try for the few quid it costs. if you cant find it locally it sometimes turns up on e-bay.
