fitting a new bathroom.what is the difference between
flexible tap tails 12MM X 15MM
flexible tap tails 10MM X 15MM
as these both have an 8mm bore.

The ends of the tails which screw into the bottom of the monobloc have a thread on the outside. British ones are usually 12mm but johnny foreigner's are usually 10.

NB If yours are 10 the tap is probably designed for High pressure supplies, not a tank one floor above. Find out before you fit it.

how do i check the outside thread for size?
