NETGEAR WiFi Range Extender - Problem Setting it Up

Does anyone have any idea how to set up this kit? I've tried without success. The instructions are appalling.

For those interested in what this is, it is a wifi broadband range extender that uses the mains electric ring inside the house as the conduit for the signal. An adaptor receives the signal from the broadband hub via an ethernet cable and connects to another similar adaptor in another room which then uses wireless capability to connect to another pc or laptop.

Its very clever, but so difficult to set up.

yes i have.
if i remember rightly,

when you go to set it up, plug it in near your pc , then pop in the cd, it will detect a list of wireless connections you select yours, then select the wirelesss extender.

It will then setup the encryption between those 2 points and i think thats it.

just a note : dont loose that cd, you can not download it, or chagne the settings without it!!
