New batteries please

Whilst doing a bit spot o' DIY today it became self evident that my drills batteries are not what they were.. well actually goosed is a better description as even though fully charged yesterday they only managed 6 holes in albeit Accrington noris before become very jaded. So does anyone have any places they would recommend for new batteries?

It's an 18v Makita 8444D with 3.0 Ah batts.

I seem to recall that there's a place over at Walton Summit near Chorley which sells copy batteries for Makita drills. When I get home I'll post the details (unless beaten to it)
