Hi All,
I've had a read around previous threads and I am getting familiar but would appreciate some guidance on the following:

I am currently planning on starting with a Premier Elite 64-W panel (replacing a veritas system I installed previously). However I reckon I have 10 wired zones and this panel only has 4 onboard zones...

1. I plan to include a wired zone expaner CCD-0001 to get my wired zones up to a total of 12 (giving me a couple of spares). Any reason why you would opt for the external CCB-001 instead of the internal CCD-001?
2. I think I understand that wired keypad DBD-0168 allows me to wire two sensors into the keypad itself, have I read this correctly? It would be very helpful to simplify the wiring and connect in a door sensor that would be close to the keypad when the panel is somewhere else.
3a. I am looking for a comms solution and like the idea of dual 4g and wifi CEL-0007... however I am obviously not an installer... am I going to be able to set this up or is configuration restricted to registered installers? (I do have a login for the Texecom website)
3b. There is a subsription fee for part of the comms solution, what is the subscription needed for? Could you advise how much it is? (is this for the 4g subscription or would i need to buy a sim/ have to register and pay for an onboard sim?)

Thanks in advance,
Jim.

1. The CCD-0001 is the internal expander and doesnt fit the 64-W
You would need the CCB-0001 8XP

2. All of the Hardwired Texecom Premier/ Premier Elite LCD keypads have the two zones at the back.

3a. The subscription is cheaper if you setup your own account.

3b. the smart coms 4g sim is built in and you have no option to change it.

If you had a wifi connection or hard wired connection to your router then its not needed unless you have lots of power cuts as the router would be off during a power cut.

You should be able to sign up for a Texecom cloud account as many non installers have on here.

Thank you for the fast response, very much appreciated.

Regarding the 4g/WiFi solution, I assume this will still have power and be able to transmit over 4g in the event of a power cut?
