Newell post and stairs

I am thinking of ordering a straight flight of stairs off the net and wondered if ther newell post can be fitted on site by the joiner or is it best to do it in the workshop.

I have actually bought all my bits for the staircase now and i have 5 newel post to fit.

one at the bottom of the first flight and one at the top.

Then one at the bottom of the second flight and 2 at the top.

I've fitted newels on site before now, shouldn't be a problem for a half decent joiner.
