I have a honeywell timer and when i turn the hot water on 2 rads out of 6 get really hot the rest slightly warm but when i turn the heating on pump is dead can turning the hot water on cause the rads to heat up if so is the problem with the heating the honeywell timer.

not combi about 12 years old honeywell st699b timer
Is it gravity hw pumped heating ?
yes
poss gravity check valve is full of crud and sticking open.
poss the pump is jammed.
check it's getting 230v when stat turned up.
