Noisey Boiler

Every time the heating comes on, there is a loud bang in the pipes within the airing cupboard. I have bled the radiators and water comes out when I do so. I have drained the system once and it worked for about a week before going back to the banging!
Any ideas????

Lots, but please, lets have some technical information about your system, sealed? open vented? gas? oil? pumped? gravity?

Information I can give is:
Gas, boiler is upstairs.Glow worm Fuelsaver MkII.
I dont think it is open vented (please explain if nec)
It is pumped.
