    Are the regs for distances for siting an oil tank the same in scotland as in england please?.

    Well for starters, we don't need to be OFTEC registered to install oil systems. But that doesn't make it a DIY job, as LABC will still look for commissioning details of any installation by a fully trained, time-served installer.

    Thanks, but I only really want to know where I should be leaving a space for the oil tank base. Distance from house wall, boundary wooden fence etc.
