They can prove it by showing how all the corpses are riddled with bullets or blown to bits, as opposed to being killed by chemical weapons.

It was revealing that some of the comments from Cameron's phonecall to Miliband quoted Cameron saying "your letting down America" and "your siding with Lavrov(Russian foreign minister)". That still it seemed to come down to being in bed with the yanks and against the meerkats just because of old politics, rather then about the real issue at hand, is it right that we bomb Assad.

France and Germany go their own way, for war this time, but against in Iraq but we just go with what the yanks say. Until now though. Its interesting, Cameron, Hague et al wanted a war because all politicians like them love a good war, its the crowning part of their time in the big seat but by it going to parliament all the MP's knew if they voted yes then their careers would be over as they wouldnt be voted in again.

America are going to congress about it, it will be interesting, Republicans normally love a good war but might not go for it just because it would be agreeing with Obama. Just politics, yet the yanks almost need to bomb now so they dont lose face.

True. They saw how the Falklands conflict made Maggie supremely popular at the time and they want the same.

The difference being the Falklands war was justified, British sovereign territory had been invaded, it was our duty to protect the Falkland islanders.
Iraq and Afghanistan are all phoney conflicts, why waste British service personnel on another phoney war with Syria?

A Map of all the countries Britain has invaded at one time or another...The white ones were the minority we didn't!

Kind of puts a perspective on how we've been such a 'peace loving' country over the years!

I can't believe we've never invaded Liechtenstein. It should have been a walk-over.

All join Ellal for the guilt trip!

Beat yourselves over your heads with a copy of The Guardian, and chant "I'm a nasty, horrible little colonialist"

I feel sorry for you having to carry all this guilt around with you.

Get with the plot Ell. No one's invading anything. They're just on about stopping the natives killing each other.
