Going to run a power supply to my shed, 5m from c.u as the crow flies, 12m round the wreaking (attached to house with 1.5m in free air to shed). I have a "spare" 32A 30ma MCBRCD (RCBO ?) that I have space for (2 blocks) on my non-protected side of my split c.u..

Could I use this instead of a seperate c.u. and use a switched F.C.U. for the lighting once inside the shed ? If I plug every leccy goodie in at once and turn the lights on the largest draw I will get is 5760W or 25amp.
I planned to use 2.5mm2 cable through 25mm plastic conduit but I also have enough 6mm2 & 10mm2 to do the job(over engineered the shower n cooker circuits or what ?? ;) ), but, if I'm honest the 2.5 option will be the easiest as there's a length of good stuff that'll do the job already in situ but flapping in the breeze (not me  !!) that needs tidying.
B.T.W. all other outdoor leccy stuff (pond, lights etc.) will be running of utility ring

2.5 would be enough if you used SWA, but if your using T&E then you need to use 4.0mm.

As you have 6mm already I suggest you use that.

Regarding the lighting. Use an UNSWITCHED Spur to feed the circuit, but switch as usual.

Cheers FWL, no hardship upping to 6mm really as I would have to pull the 2.5 off to thread it through anyway, at least this way I'll be able to see what I'm doing on a dark night !!
The r.c.b.o. idea is ok then ?
