Is there actually a Regulation that states all exterior lights on the house must have a double pole switch with neon indicator feeding them?

I remember that it was considered good practice to feed all exterior lights through a double pole wall switch with neon indicator.

I can't remember seeing this as a regulation, if fed from an RCD protected circuit a DP isolator is a good idea though.
