Hi

I am trying to paint the outside walls of my house which are covered in a stippled render. (very grey and varying depths of stipple).

I have so far tried normal hand brushes, and soft broom and a very shaggy roller, all seem to work, but all taking forever; very hard going.

Anyone got any tips or know of any hire gear that could help speed things along.

We are just using a standard water based exterior paint from Wickes.

Many thanks

Peter

Go for a prodec roller sleeve...they are woven pile and have sponge in the centre to help get into the crevices..use it on a pole and not by hand' youl get far more pressure onto the surface that way

And save your wrists
