After we went through Hurricane Frances we were without power for about four days and our parquet floor through our house buckled up in different spots becuz of the moisture in the house. We have tried to put it back together but when we get to the last piece in each square the parquet piece won't fit becuz it has swelled up. We have ran a fan and dried it all out and we still can't get certain pieces to fit. Please help me!!!

was the floor dry under the parquet if its still damp the wood will take
longer to dry
its also unlikely all the wood will finnish up the same profile
so some will warp a bit some will twist a bit some will swell a bit
you may need to tinker to get them to fit but please be patient
and let them dry out propperly

big all

The floor was all dried up and the parquet pieces have been drying for five days now. Do you know how you can fit the swelled pieces in to make it fit. (ex. Cut it down or what)

Thanks for your reply
