I just had an internal wall removed and I need to patch up the concrete slab
There is an old disconnected gas pipe and what look like bricks as foundation for the removed wall
The whole room will be tiled, the tiler said he will use a decoupling mat and that I can just use some self levelling compound to patch it up

I was thinking of using some ready mix concrete and the self levelling compound for just the top layer

What’s the best way to do it? Do I need to prime the existing concrete? Do I need to add SBR in the concrete mix (I think I read this on the instructions, but didn’t buy it as it was 30£ for 5 liters)
