Hello clever people,

We've just moved in this year. Our patio door looks to have been installed on a concrete slab that bridged the cavity wall below.

Rear FFL is higher than garden and so a small patio exists. On the face of patio retaining wall, ~2m out from house is an air brick. But there's no sign of it reaching inside underfloor area, as the concrete covers the side of the underfloor wall at that level.

There is an air brick into the under kitchen, and the underfloor of the dining area (patio door area) is separated from kitchen by an underfloor wall with gap tooth top for air to pass across. Sonsome.cross flow.

Is this situation something that needs attention anytime soon? The gaps between the old floor boards are up to a few mm in places so it looks well ventilated from above.

If it needed fixed is it a case.of lifting floorboards beside patio, locating where the duct on other side is and drilling holes through it? Anything else to be mindful.of?

Thanks in advance
