PDF "Restricted Sites"

When I try to open adobe attachments to incoming emails I get a blank internet screen with "Restricted Sites" at the bottom right-hand corner. I've tried changing privacy settings on Internet options-security-zones but no joy.

Any ideas? It's really frustrating having these docs on my computer which I want to open but can't.

Adobe documents open with Acrobat reader, but it sounds like you either don't have it installed or the file type is not associated with the application.

As I don't know what Operating System you have, I can't tell you the quick way, but, assuming you have Adobe installed, you can try this. Save the attachment to disk and then right click on the file (you saved) and click open with. If Adobe is in the list that is displayed, click on it and also check the box that says 'Always use this application...'. If Adobe is not displayed, use the browse button to navigate to the Adobe folder and select the application manually.
