I have a Philips/Whirlpool AWB 682 electronic sensor dryer. On the front panel it says "Series 90 682" It is branded Philips but some of the documents say Whirlpool.

The other day, it warm-dried a load, and turned itself off when ready.

The next load, it rotated and blew air, and the control panel buttons appear to work, but had no heat and did not turn itself off as if it thought it was dry.

I wonder if there is a fault in the sensor.

Not sure where to look.

How might I start in looking for the fault?
