Works fine just follow the instructions. Works on copper, plastic and lead.

Little tip for ya, if on copper or lead use your dogs and put slight crimps/dents where your going to put your jackets, this holds the ice slugs just that little bit longer. prep your pipe and fittings first as you dont have allday.
used them on 1 inch iron last week. job sorted.
ya pump pliers, footprints, geffries. ya grips mate....
