I would like to fit a shower over my bath. The area is tiled very nicely so I therefore don't fancy trying to remove them.

Is it ok to take the pipes up the wall from the room behind and come straight through to where I want the mixer?

Also, is it ok to just tee off of the existing bath taps. I have normal indrect system with upstairs bathroom, cold tank in loft and hot water cylinder in kitchen, beloiw bathroom. I als think I need to add a pump.

You can take the pipes up the wall if you want.

If you want to pump the water then you'll need to use the correct flange for the cylinder. Plenty of info on here so run a search for shower pumps.
