Plastering bare brick 12ft x 5 ft, onto wall, or fit pb?

I have uncovered 12ft x 5 ft of bare brick as the plaster was rotten.
Bodgeit & Scarper are coming to plaster the hall way. I have already plasterboarded one partition wall. Should i board this for them to plaster on to, or will be just PVA and plaster it?

Do you ever plasterboard a wall?

yes, it's called dot & dab. provided your tolerance parameters allow i.e switch boxes, door casings etc, then go ahead. it's quick and simple, though not so good to fix to as solid float and set plastering.

remember to use a solid dab line at skirting level and put extra dab or two where any radiator brackets may be fitted.
