Plumbing courses

Hello, i'm new here.
I really want to do a course in plumbing but not too sure where I should start looking. are there any recognized bodies i should be going through and how much would it cost?

any information/advice would be most appreciated.

Hi I'm doing a plumbing course through the job centre called work based learning for adults( WBLA ). You have to be unemployed for 6 months though. Alternatively sign up with "The Copper Club" on the net. Its free and you'll get a cd rom and pack to teach you about the basics and how to bend pipes etc. It includes video footage. I found it great. www.ukcopperboard.co.uk. You could try the colleges but they're usually fully booked. all the best.
