It seems the best way to deal with climate change, rising house prices, wars, dwindling resources. But our economic model relies on demand exceeding supply.

I've been saying this for years, something the Chinese have dealt with.

However the implications is loss of freedom of choice, at the end of the day can the government really tell us we cannot have more than 1 child? Me and Mrs turbo have decided to just have the one, we originally planned for 2 and was the reason we moved to a bigger house, but, with both having to work full time and child care costs what they are and the ever increasing living costs we cannot see it being economically viable.

Maybe that's what the government wants to happen to everyone....

Green peace can blame the cows for climate change all they want but to really deal with it is an unspeakable reality, we need to stop populating ..

Blow job is a hypocritical sack of poop. How many kids with different women?

    Possibly I'm not sure tbh.

I know the japanese are in population decline, their culture and working habits has meant few people have time to start a family

If we do need to reduce the population in the near future, then I propose a different approach than yet another world war, a lab created virus or even a slight change in climate.

Let's suspend the rule of law for a few days. Let's have anarchy reign & let's see whose fit enuff to survive it.

Win Win situation. Society rids itself of those weak & feeble folk who don't enjoy the protection of a clan , the gobshoites & the wrong 'uns will be run down & tossed across the baying masses from bayonet to bayonet. Soshal meedya might go quiet for the duration, but hey what the heck, we will rid ourselve's of very many problems . . . !

I agree with JohnD. Something needs to be done. They can stop all the Live Aid nonsense. Sending food only worsens the situations. It's contraceptives that are needed.
