I have a 7 day timer and TVR'S fitted to my combi system.If I get fitted a simple wireless thermostat (only) to control the living room temperature and remove the living room TVR will I still need the timer?

If you buy a programmable wireless thermostat, then that will still give you time control as well as a thermostat.
