Noticed we had a damp worktop tonight and i have removed the front cover etc to allow me to see into the boiler and it has a drip on the return pipe connector. From what i can see this isnt on the threaded boiler connection it is on the 90 degree joint that connects the boiler to the household pipework.

Im guessing this is a boiler out job to make this connection good again. Any idea how much i should be paying for this kind of work ?

Are you 100% it's from that joint? It could be drained and re-soldered.

As said then. Drain down, sweat joint off, redo, access permitting, or if the fitting is dry just a tad more solder, vary on price, so couldn't give you a figure without seeing I'm afraid.
