Morning all,

wonder if anyone can give me some help/advice on a problem I have with my boiler.

I have a Potterton Suprima 40. The pilot light keeps going out approx every 24 - 36 hours. When I reset the boilwer it has no problem relighting but the pilot light will again go out.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

thought they didnt have pilots on the suprimas
i know mine has'nt

Whats my problem then?

When I go to the panel the re light is flashing, I press the rest button and it lights OK. After it's got to the set temp it suts off as normal and goes to a constatnt red light. The unit seems to work OK fro about 24 hours then the red light starts flashing again and I have to rest it manually.

Any thoughts?

Can I suggest you do a search on the suprima, you will find you are one of many with this type of problem where it keeps going to lockout.
As everything else seems to be in order, I strongly suspect it's your PCB thats causing the problem.
