Anyone have a problem with a suprima potterton boiler the pilot light keeps going out we only realise it when the rads are cold we shut it of and when we turn it back on the pilot light comes back on. My husband is a bit handy so was wondering if he would be able to resolve the issue,

thanks in advance

There are a few things this could be and you would need to give more info. It could be that the boiler is over heating due to many things or that your p.c.b is on its way out. - Go-Repairs

Steve32 is right, they don't have a pilot light (I assume she means the burner isn't lighting though).

as the husband is a bit handy i would have assumed he would know the difference

the fault you have with this boiler is common to a lot of boilers the repair on the suprima is not a diy repair you will require an rgi
