Premia 9 alarm control panel

I'm assuming I need to replace the battery located in the control panel as 'bF' is being displayed.
I know the panel has tamper settings on the srews, can any one tell me how I cancel this, ie will my alarm cancellation code suffice or do I need an engineers programming code.
Any other information regarding changing the battery including the most suitable type/make would be appreciated.

How old is the battery, more than 5 years?....change it. BF could also be a problem with the charging circuit fuse

Entering your user code will silence a tamper alarm in day mode.

You may run into problems if the installing co has programmed engineers reset on tampers. (which they should have)

Replace battery like for like.
