pressure rising

combi boiler. after taking radiator on and off fot painting pressure in boiler as measured by gauge keeps rising. mains inlet is deff OFF. is this dangerous? i am about to go on holiday

Only two ways this can happen.

1) fill loop is slightly open

2) DHW heat exchanger has internal leak
