hi, the heating and hot water stopped working and it sounded like there was a lot of air in the radiator pipes.

so, i used a radiator key to let out all the air in the radiators (there didn't seem to be much there though) then tried to repressurise the boiler (i'm talking about the thing under the stairs, i'm not sure what it's called)

so far i have put the pressure back up to 1.5 four times, but it keeps going back down to 0. does that mean there's leak somewhere, or should i keep on repressurising it?

i cheaked the radiators on the second floor and they seemed to only be hot about half way up (that's when they were working for the time the pressure was in the system).

what should i do? thanks.

first check that the copper pipe outside isnt dripping, if it isnt then you either have a leak or a faulty boiler
